All of the bugs mentioned in the previous version have been fixed and the physics are now very close to what I want them to be in the final product. I changed(improved) the background and stage of this demo. since he can no longer "fly" around.

I wont be updating this again until the game is finished.

If anyone has any pointers about the code I'm using, I'd really appreciate it. I used the code from FiendishDemon's amazing platform tutorial. Tweaked it a little and added some buttons, but there is still a lot about it I don't understand.

I'd like to be able to use different attacks for the same button, but it changes depending on if he's in the air or on the ground. Like hitting "x" on the ground plays a different frame than if you hit "x"while in the air.

This game is good and I think once it is done it'll be EPIC! I love the attack with the dog, thats awesome aswell :)

It's off to a great start

... but I do not think it's quite ready to be put out here yet. The characters are great, I love the art- but the movement is choppy, and the clouds are difficult to navigate. More often than not, I fall through the cloud, even if I land directly in the center.

Cool. Still bugs

First off, I Like the Character design. He's so cool!
The game plays pretty smoothly but it seems like the clouds are mostly solid but sometimes you fall right through them..
There's this one bug I found, when you use the dash (Z) on either edge of the stage it teleports you to the top and makes you fall infinitely. resulting you to restart/reload the flash. I understand its a beta looking forward to the finished product!

I suppose the charging attack thing has too much "power" and makes him go over walls. I'm really not sure how to fix that yet, but it will be fixed before the final release.
