Another labor of love. A fun, quick game. There's a bunch of medals in there, hopefully, and Newgrounds users can compete to hit the high score board!

Once I get enough complaints, I'll throw more stuff up here. For you non-Americans, all prices are in American dollars.

Edit 1: Yes, Plinko is mostly a game of luck. Look it up on YouTube. And some users have asked to be able tp drop the chip wherever one pleases. Since the Plinko board is basically a giant binomial distribution machine, it would make very little difference in the end result to have you guys drag the chip anywhere you want. Trust me, I've thought of this stuff.

Edit 2: Fixed a bug, resetting the high score board.

Good game, poor luck

This is probably as well as the game could be transferred over, but it's still frustrating. :) My chips seem to always gravitate towards the zero dollars. ;-;

Frustrated or not, it's still a greats transition. 8/10, 4/5!

Loved it, but hard to get the medals.

50 tries.

I have played the beginning game and have written down the costs of most of the items (so I have no problem getting all 5 plinko chips almost every time), and I must first of all ask...
Did you just pull the prices for these items out of thin air?
A simple Google search of any of the items (that are specific enough to Google) in the beginning of the game leads me to believe you made all the prices up, since they are far from realistically priced. This makes the game nearly impossible for someone using common sense, and without a list of prices handy.

Anyway... my issue is not with the beginning game at all.
It is with the last two medals.

You need all 5 chips to get either of the last two medals.
With the max number of chips, the only way to get the SPECTACULAR medal is with a $10,000 on each chip but one (if you get a zero, or don't hit your four $10,000's you will be trying again to get the medal)
With the max number of chips, the only way to get the last medal is with a $10,000 on each chip (if even one chip misses its mark, you will be trying again to get the medal)
I have tried over 50 times with all 5 chips, and I got a zero every single time, ruining both medals.
50 tries at a chance to win 2 different medals?
That is ridiculous.
I understand the game is completely fair, and winning the big prize is not something "easily" obtained... but at this point playing to get the medals is not fun, and it is a grind.... Not so much a grind as much as its never going to get played again.

Also, the medals specifically say "Score $X or MORE on the Plinko board."
but achieving a score high enough to earn you the next-best medal does not earn you both medals. (Scoring over $30,000 earns you the FANTASTIC medal, but does not give you the RETRO-GREAT medal when your score is obviously more than $21,000)

Fun game.
... but should not have added such unattainable medals.

I hate you so much.

For making a similar game to what I've been making for 6 months now, lol.

But I'm not going to write a review of that, lol.

The game is good, simple, to the point, nicely done and well put together.

The actual plinko drop is what sort of put me off though. If I'm correct, you can choose wherever you drop the chip in plinko, not in predetermined areas as you have put, but whatever, that's just nitpicking.

Lol, it feels weird seeing a game like this as I'm developing one.

PM me if you want to see it, lol.

@Designer : Great game, altough I agree medals based on luck are kind of frustrating
