This game is based on our Bloody Sugar web comic series ( For those who love our Gem Swap - Jewels game, you'll really dig this new Combat Jewels. It's an adventure puzzle game where you play as Bette. You will be fighting your way through the various monsters encounter on the map to ulimately reach Bloody Sugar's castle. While fighting the monsters, Bette will lose pieces of her clothing as her health goes low. Bloody Sugar strips each time you beat her minions. You will ultimately fight Bloody Sugar nude, and if you win, you'll get rewarded with a winning artwork! We've spent many months developing this game. It's packed with tons of graphics, music, and sound!

An interesting spin on the traditional Bejeweled game. It's good that when you run out of time you you just lose a little bit of health instead of failing instantly. I found the amount of health the player has to be quite generous. Clearing the pink capsules or running out of time barely seemed to damage me at all. Although the lack of time on the later levels was a little unfun. Not hard, just unfun. There does seem to be a system in place to prevent unwinnable scenarios so that's also good.

It's cool that your character strips when you get hurt, but it would be better if you could also strip the monsters, at least the ones that have clothes. The Succubus monster was used twice, so a different monster would have been better to have there. Pretty good for a demo game, but that doesn't mean that it's not dissappointing for being so.

I'll spare you the usual complaints and skip right into it.

when your taking damage you cant interact with tiles temporarily which eats up valuable time, other than that the puzzles are ok but that's it, only ok.

the game isn't bad, just that its a demo and its rather short while also not being astounding. another thing lost in a sea of similar games.

Sadly only a demo.

But aside from it was great. : )

The illustrations were amazing, even as a chick I was able to fully appreciate them.
Even the game play was fairly interesting, every level came with a new opponent and a new task (connecting certain color jewels as the opponents own personal weakness.)
and I think i saw one or two people say that it was too difficult, which i didn't understand . I felt like it progressively got harder at the perfect speed... enough to keep you interested but enough to where you would get stuck.

Great job!

Although I still would prefer....

...the Puzzle Quest Series or Galactrix. This is a unique take on a tired genre. And I like the art style. Good way to get folks interested in the comic.
