WOW FRONTPAGE!! THANKS, we'd nearly given up hope! Thank you so much ^_^
Thanks fo these great reviews and daily fourth! we'll try to respond to as many as we can!
There's a couple reviews debating the naming of the animation or antagonist, apologies for not making it clear;
As the cat in the hat was the only character in the movie relating to Dr Seuss, we felt it was fitting that he should be the embodiment of the name. We used the Cat in the Hat (possibly the most recognisable of Dr. Seuss' creations) as a representative, we are well aware that they are separate people/things/pseudonyms. Sorry for that confusion! :)

Doctor Seuss. Oh, really? Doctor of what, might I ask? Well, I did ask. And this is what I came up with.

After doodling up a quick script and finding some voice talent at the Voice Acting Club, I entrusted the rest of the project to TheThingy5, who promptly animated for months and months while I sat on my butt playing Bombliss on the NES. Occasionally, I'd forget all about this project. But now it's complete, and I'm absolutely thrilled. I'll stop talking soon because no one wants to spend more time reading the description than watching the animation, but first I just want to give a huge thanks to TheThingy5 and all of our wonderful voice actors, without whom this animation wouldn't exist. Hooray for them!

Firstly i'd just like to apologise for the scruffiness of the first minute or so of the animation, i was trying out a new style and it took a while to get used to.
You can adjust the quality by right clicking the flash, this is because the beginning is especially graphically heavy and may lag.
The total frames are 6898 at 24 fps and run time is about 4 mins.
Anyway it was a real pleasure to work on such a fantastic script by DarkLink and with the brilliant talent of all the actors, I hope i've done it justice.
BTW there IS an easter egg at the end! if you can find it ;)

That was some godly animation man. I could really see the planning that went into this, practically flawless. Your drawings were awesome and the animation itself was wonderful. I particularly like that ending bit where the lights are flashing and the Doctor is coming closer and closer over his sadistic monologue. Your voice actors were spot on, the story flowed perfectly, the mix of humor and terror was a superb blend for fans of the sick and twisted. The idea in general is just hysterical, but the way you brought it to life was awesome. This is a gem, keep on coming with the original shit. Nice work.

So he got away with murder?

I see a bigger picture here. (I'm no one special). Maybe he becomes a home doctor? Not only could that make more episodes, but well idk, think about it. I forgot Seuss made up words to rhyme (No idea how I forgot). I thought The Cat in the Hat was perfect for the part.

Just thought of something. What if you made shorts for more of the seuss characters? Horton hears a Who, then gets put in a zoo. He starts hearing things everywhere because he's crazy. You have the Grinch, he's a sinch. He gets caught by someone he's stealing from. Maybe even put them together. Like Horton caused the accident the guy was in?

Although, it was Dr. Seuss who was originally the star of the show. I don't know. anyways. Great animation and idea. Very funny.
