* NOW WITH ADDED SOUND EFFECTS!* (thanks reviewers)
WOW FRONTPAGE!! THANKS, we'd nearly given up hope! Thank you so much ^_^
*EDIT*
Thanks fo these great reviews and daily fourth! we'll try to respond to as many as we can!
There's a couple reviews debating the naming of the animation or antagonist, apologies for not making it clear;
As the cat in the hat was the only character in the movie relating to Dr Seuss, we felt it was fitting that he should be the embodiment of the name. We used the Cat in the Hat (possibly the most recognisable of Dr. Seuss' creations) as a representative, we are well aware that they are separate people/things/pseudonyms. Sorry for that confusion! :)

DarkLink777:
Doctor Seuss. Oh, really? Doctor of what, might I ask? Well, I did ask. And this is what I came up with.

After doodling up a quick script and finding some voice talent at the Voice Acting Club, I entrusted the rest of the project to TheThingy5, who promptly animated for months and months while I sat on my butt playing Bombliss on the NES. Occasionally, I'd forget all about this project. But now it's complete, and I'm absolutely thrilled. I'll stop talking soon because no one wants to spend more time reading the description than watching the animation, but first I just want to give a huge thanks to TheThingy5 and all of our wonderful voice actors, without whom this animation wouldn't exist. Hooray for them!

TheThingy5:
Firstly i'd just like to apologise for the scruffiness of the first minute or so of the animation, i was trying out a new style and it took a while to get used to.
Secondly;
You can adjust the quality by right clicking the flash, this is because the beginning is especially graphically heavy and may lag.
The total frames are 6898 at 24 fps and run time is about 4 mins.
Anyway it was a real pleasure to work on such a fantastic script by DarkLink and with the brilliant talent of all the actors, I hope i've done it justice.
BTW there IS an easter egg at the end! if you can find it ;)

OK...

That is probably one of the most unsetteling things Ive ever seen in my life... But it was impressively animated.

Creepy

You nailed the rhymes perfectly, and that animation was probably the best i've ever seen, or at least can remember. I try not to hand out perfect scores when I can avoid them, but this deserves it, undoubtedly. Kudos to you, I really hope you keep up work like this

And @ Arithmatic, I agree, but try and find me someone who wants to get in a car accident. XD

That...

freaking scares me! The animation and concept were excellent. I think something more could have been done with the music, but I am one opinion in a sea of red fish and blue fish. Overall, the idea of a mad doctor like that... well, makes me shiver!

Nice

It was great, perfect, and totally creepy. It made my day with how crazy the doctor is, and how it fit so well with the suess lines. Keep up the good work.
