WOW FRONTPAGE!! THANKS, we'd nearly given up hope! Thank you so much ^_^
Thanks fo these great reviews and daily fourth! we'll try to respond to as many as we can!
There's a couple reviews debating the naming of the animation or antagonist, apologies for not making it clear;
As the cat in the hat was the only character in the movie relating to Dr Seuss, we felt it was fitting that he should be the embodiment of the name. We used the Cat in the Hat (possibly the most recognisable of Dr. Seuss' creations) as a representative, we are well aware that they are separate people/things/pseudonyms. Sorry for that confusion! :)

Doctor Seuss. Oh, really? Doctor of what, might I ask? Well, I did ask. And this is what I came up with.

After doodling up a quick script and finding some voice talent at the Voice Acting Club, I entrusted the rest of the project to TheThingy5, who promptly animated for months and months while I sat on my butt playing Bombliss on the NES. Occasionally, I'd forget all about this project. But now it's complete, and I'm absolutely thrilled. I'll stop talking soon because no one wants to spend more time reading the description than watching the animation, but first I just want to give a huge thanks to TheThingy5 and all of our wonderful voice actors, without whom this animation wouldn't exist. Hooray for them!

Firstly i'd just like to apologise for the scruffiness of the first minute or so of the animation, i was trying out a new style and it took a while to get used to.
You can adjust the quality by right clicking the flash, this is because the beginning is especially graphically heavy and may lag.
The total frames are 6898 at 24 fps and run time is about 4 mins.
Anyway it was a real pleasure to work on such a fantastic script by DarkLink and with the brilliant talent of all the actors, I hope i've done it justice.
BTW there IS an easter egg at the end! if you can find it ;)

Very good

Despite what some depressed, child abuse critics might say, you have done a wonderful job taking a carefree being from being completly useless, to a place where his maniacal rantings and raves make sense. they give meaning to his madness. If The Cat were a real-life entity, I do believe you have found the place he fits into the best, and taken him out of the mask of innocence that he has worn for so long. He is a being of chaos come to a world of rules and regulations, no matter how you portray him. Also, despite being a story that has been passed on for ages in style, the classics are what are remembered. This has an opportunity to become one of those. Yes, use some more images to make The Cat come to life, and flesh him out, but keep the balance between logic and illogical to make the story less one sided. Its not all about The Cat, it is also about the people he has had an impact on as well. For it is from them that we get the story, The Cat is just the illistrator.
