WOW FRONTPAGE!! THANKS, we'd nearly given up hope! Thank you so much ^_^
Thanks fo these great reviews and daily fourth! we'll try to respond to as many as we can!
There's a couple reviews debating the naming of the animation or antagonist, apologies for not making it clear;
As the cat in the hat was the only character in the movie relating to Dr Seuss, we felt it was fitting that he should be the embodiment of the name. We used the Cat in the Hat (possibly the most recognisable of Dr. Seuss' creations) as a representative, we are well aware that they are separate people/things/pseudonyms. Sorry for that confusion! :)

Doctor Seuss. Oh, really? Doctor of what, might I ask? Well, I did ask. And this is what I came up with.

After doodling up a quick script and finding some voice talent at the Voice Acting Club, I entrusted the rest of the project to TheThingy5, who promptly animated for months and months while I sat on my butt playing Bombliss on the NES. Occasionally, I'd forget all about this project. But now it's complete, and I'm absolutely thrilled. I'll stop talking soon because no one wants to spend more time reading the description than watching the animation, but first I just want to give a huge thanks to TheThingy5 and all of our wonderful voice actors, without whom this animation wouldn't exist. Hooray for them!

Firstly i'd just like to apologise for the scruffiness of the first minute or so of the animation, i was trying out a new style and it took a while to get used to.
You can adjust the quality by right clicking the flash, this is because the beginning is especially graphically heavy and may lag.
The total frames are 6898 at 24 fps and run time is about 4 mins.
Anyway it was a real pleasure to work on such a fantastic script by DarkLink and with the brilliant talent of all the actors, I hope i've done it justice.
BTW there IS an easter egg at the end! if you can find it ;)

Quite good!

"Doctor Seuss" meets "Hannibal Lecter" - very creative! :-)

Vey Nice.

The Animation was very nicely done, So was the writing. However the voice acting was a bit sub-par.

Overall, Excellent Work!

I loved the animation.

The voice actors weren't great but everything else was awesome. I loved the idea. Keep up the good work.

holy shit was that messed up, never going to look at a dr.sues book right ever again

Lucky he didn't pull out Things 1 and 2.

It is a wonder that no one sues or makes him pay some dues.
He'll cut and he'll slice without cause or concern, and never will he ever learn.
That human beings are not likw Whos or Things or Seussian beings.
And so, he'll lash away like Sweeney Todd. Did I saty Todd? I meant Barker.
Benjamin Barker? BENJAMIN BARKER!!!

Okay, that's enough out of me. I'm no good at rhyme and lymric anyhow. But this does sort of answer the question of how they would function in the real world, in a serious world. Hence, the funniness. Cheerio.
