We built this project at Iowa State University during the summer REU program for Human Computer Interaction. As part of the Meta!Blast (http://metablast.org/) team, we developed a mini-game to teach biological concepts.
Great educational quality and can't go wrong with fuzzies.
As said below, additional levels would be nice. Maybe illustrating mutations.
And what about just having a free breeding session after the win?
Nice job. I love any game associated with breeding or that implements genetics. There's a huge need for more of it in gaming altogether!

you should do more work like this maybe a more complex 1 that controls more then the creatures color and pattern so people can breed there own stuf

This is really one of the best teaching games i've ever seen!
Okay ... you need to learn the basics first (what fit's best) but if you understood how it works, its really easy - if not ... well ... you get a problem :D
Nice one ... maybe a tiny bit more level, cause 15+5 level are done within 30 min or so.
