Deserves a better score

Personally, I like having to earn the ability to shoot. You have to focus on technique instead of just shooting everything you see. Good game.

You had the right idea

But unfortunately leaving the player defenseless right at the beginning of the game maybe wasn't such a good idea especially with the amount of asteroids and spaceships just in the first level. It could of used a tutorial level and an intro in the beginning. However the time spent on the game's graphics was really well done, the look is flawless. Next time make sure the game itself is enjoyable. Try harder :)

The inability to shoot from the start of the game really turned me off from it. I played it a few times but got irritated big time when I started another game and the screen was so full of asteroids that you could only move between narrow cracks. I understand the concept of using the asteroids to shield yourself, and I actually like that, but sometimes there's just too many asteroids generated. Maybe reduce it a bit at the start and then increase the number of it when your ship is upgraded. The graphics aren't anything great but they're really likable anyway! And it's clear that you've put some thought and care into the physics of the game, from the missile trajectories to the element of using asteroids to shield yourself. It's just got some flaws that will turn off some people, but with refinement it could be a good game.
