Hey guys!

after robot day and the game jam ended i was feeling the newgrounds spirit full on! so i wanted to keep the enthusiasm going with a challenge to artists and give them 24 hours to create a flash based around a certain theme. I was lucky enough to get joshhunsaker (my favorite ngs musician) to create an original song for this submission

the theme was : ::neo western::

There artists in this collab were amazing so much (unfortunately lesser known) talent that hopefully will be brought to light in this project! all the flashes you see in here were made in 24 hours or less (most in less to factor in the naps / carpal tunnel breaks)

so please enjoy! SIXGUN SPACE

(ps thanks to rice pirate for being a badass and stringing this monstrosity together!)

Edit: for those of you jabbing on this for its lack of continuity or lack of action....keep in mind. this was a challenge made in a day day.

Most of the animations and ideas were interesting...But-for some reason- I didn't fall in love with this exactly.

Its amazing that a 24hr collab had this much quality/quantity.
Some parts repeated the subject a little but with 24hr thats understandable.
Every part was unique but they fit together perfectly. GOOD JOB!

I knew

From the beginning this would be good. My expectations were in the right place.

Pretty great.

The movie as a whole was pretty sweet. I've never been able to wrap my mind around futuristic westerns, but some of these were like novels in a span of a minute. For that, you have my praise. Now, for the criticism... Some of the clips made zero sense, and others made a lot of sense but were extremely poorly drawn, but if they were really done in under 24 hours, then that's given a pass. =) The music never really fit with many of the clips, and even when it looked like it fit perfectly with a couple of them, they either went on too long after the song ended or stopped too short, and when the entire video is based on the music to go with the clips, that's a major problem to me. All in all, this movie is a pretty good one. Not the best, I wouldn't say frontpage material, but definitely deserves to remain a part of the community and I look forward to seeing what all the artists on this collab go on to do!
