-A randomly generated city is created everytime you play, so you will never play the exact same game twice! Find clues to your daughter's location, and save her from the zombie infested city.

-30+ weapons, including axes, baseball bats, handguns, submachine guns, rifles, a chainsaw, a rocket launcher, and a variety of other weapons!

-Procedural side quests, including rescuing fellow survivors, eliminating fugitives, and collecting supplies.

-Simple controls: left/right arrow to move, up to interact, spacebar to fire, c to change weapons, x to throw a rope ladder.

one of the best zombie games i've ever played.

this is fantastic because you don't just kill zombies; there are loads of things to do that just happen to involve lots of blood splatter. :3 the randomly generated cities are a big plus, and the story and music are good enough so as to keep you playing. melee weapons are too weak, though, they have some collision issues, and frankly there's not that much difference between a chainsaw and a loaf of bread. it's too easy to find weapons, i think, so either have more zombies or have less weapons. the hiding mechanism is unnecessary, since one can simply cruise through a level. i'd also like to use my money for more than some drinks and rope ladders. oh, and finding information is nice and all, but they don't really impact the game, at least from my experience. i've finished it faster just going to the nearest area rather than planning my ventures. and it's the randomly spawning zombies can provide a sort of cheat; when i don't want to fight the strong zombies i usually just exit and reenter the stage. overall, it's pretty good though, if you could improve the mechanics it'll be something special.

A complete crime...

A complete crime that this is not list on the "Best of the Week" list. Who's rating this anything less than a 5? This is better than the last 2 Resident Evil games. A decent plot line for a zombie game for once (find a loved one trumps mere survival any day); nice variety of weapons with a great weapon deterioration mechanic; random city for replayability; the clue system gives us something to do other than kill zombies; and the city grid has an awesome board game feel to it. This is one of the best Zombie games I've seen in awhile. The only drawback, is getting used to the interaction controls...pressing up to go down a ladder is hard to keep strength, same thing for pressing down to get out of stealth mode. I'd rather see up/down for ladders, and some other button for stealth/crouch mode, but that's just me. Really, this thing should be ranked higher than that stupid Avatar movie that's in the "Best of All Time".
