Bubble Tanks Arenas (BTA) is a spin off of the traditional Bubble Tanks series. We created it to develop and test out some powerful new features that someday will be implemented in the upcoming Bubble Tanks 3!

Rather than being able to move freely around the world, in BTA you can fight in Arenas, series of Bubblefields filled with enemies. That's alright, but what makes it awesome is that you can create your own tanks and arenas! You can design your own avatar tanks, enemy tanks, and arenas as well as search to see what other players have created. If you're worried about quality, don't fret: Hero Interactive will constantly be making new Arenas for you to try out!

This game has been long in development and a massive undertaking- by far the largest game we've ever coded. We hope you all enjoy it!

Tutorials are listed in-game. All keyboard commands can be configured via Settings.
Don't forget when in an Arena that pressing 'P' will pause and open up more options!

It was really fun at the first because it was kind of the games I like, but then it started to get boring because u only kill bubble thingys and u don't really upgrade at the end. I don't get why people waste their time designing those things cuz they won't really use it.

I like the previous Bubble Tank entries, including the tower defense, but for all of its features, Arenas is just plain boring. In reality, the "gameplay" of Bubble Tanks has never been expansive or strategic by any stretch of the imagination. You could choose to be a slow-moving heavy-hitter, or you could choose to be a quick fighter with machine-guns, but either way, you were basically just pointing towards the enemy and holding down the mouse button until you evolved again. And that's really the only fun to be had in Bubble Tanks: watching your tank evolve from little bubble to big bubble, and enjoying the increased firepower as you get there.

Arenas does make an attempt to expand the gameplay by giving you control over your tanks armor and arsenal; but this process is, unfortunately, too tedious to be entertaining. The main problem is that gun points are rationed out like water in a desert. I felt like my firepower was only barely keeping up with the enemies, if that; instead of evolving, I felt like I was struggling to stay alive. That prevented any sense of satisfaction from completing a stage, and by stage 9, I was ready to quit. On a random note, the color red seems far too dreary for this game; I think the blue of previous titles works much better.

I did enjoy the random commentary you put in the game, though, like the descriptions for the double and tripleshot gun. Little details like that are appreciated.

Good Game, but it gets old.

It's a great game :). I love the concept of editing your own arenas, enemies, and your own tank. It's very nice feature. However after playing around (about 7 arenas into the game) you get really BORED. It's just arena after arena of bubbles blasting eachother, even the editing and all that extra usermade arenas can't make up for that. I would definitely love to see more variety in BT3 :).

Another issue, gunpoints. You get them a lot slower than bubblepoints. That's a problem. I'd end up with a ton of bubble points, but barely any gunpoints! Which is by the way, more important. It's the firepower, and getting it so slow really brings this game down.

Also the old system, versus this new hp system, is interesting. I don't prefer either so it's your choice which to put in BT3. Also what's with the red? How about an option (to unlock) so you can change the color? That would be nice :). More music too! :D

Overall a great game, I look forward to BT3!
