I would like to thank Tom Fulp for sponsoring this game and PsychoGoldish for helping me set up the flash API. Sorry, I'm just a teenager, I'm partially stupid when it comes to... everything. Forgive me and the dozens of emails I have spammed you with.

Also, this game will lag if you have anything under a 2.00 GHz processer. Do not rate it down because it lags for you, it isn't my fault if your computer does not have a processer that can play it,

P.S.: There was not enough room for me to link to all the songs in the game, so here are the ones that I didn't mention in order of visitation in game:

Moovlin PC's Emergency Song - "Hurry Up!": /audio/listen/188340
Planet Lavarious - "Hellstruck Heights": /audio/listen/330004
Into The Volcano - "The Land of the Night....": /audio/listen/303810

Terribly Executed

First of all, this game is nearly unplayable. I finished it purely for the satisfaction of of beating it, but uncovered countless game-breaking bugs along the way. Every time you kill a robot, it lags for a second or two. Controls are sometimes completely unresponsive. The keys are sticky. No, it's not my laptop, it's the game. Everybody else has found these same problems, and your game is the only game that lags for me. I even completely vanished from the screen once or twice. Aside from the bugs, the gameplay is simply repetative and not fun. It seems like you tried much to hard to add things to make it unique, and it came out frustrating. Also, if you're boosting and then die, you'll automatically go back to the beginning of the level 9 times out of 10, because the S key sticks and that chooses the "start from beginning" option, which really pissed me off to the point where I almost stopped playing.

If this is all you have to show for two years of work, then you've got a lot of things to improve on as a flash developer.

The only reason I even gave you four stars is because of my personal likeness for Rina-chan. She's wonderful. <3

Not for me

I'm sorry, but I just can't play this game anymore. I gave it a chance by playing through a few levels but this game just isn't for me.

Voices - In my opinion, the voice-overs ruined it a bit. The blue guy in the beginning had a squeaky voice that was just obnoxious to listen to and didn't suit him at all. On top of that, Moovlin's voice seemed dull and monotone. For example, when he got thrown out of the ship after the second level, he made a little "augh" sound completely devoid of emotion. You could've gone to the Voice Acting Alliance and tried to get someone to make the voices for you. Or maybe you did, but didn't choose the best candidates?

Graphics - You mentioned the graphics were bad during the preloader so at least you were giving us the heads-up not to expect an explosion of detail... but if you've spent two years on this, why not try to fix them up a bit? You've worked on this for so long. If you acknowlege the graphics are bad, don't just shrug and say "Oh well! Newgrounds, here I come!".

Story - This game suffered here. I start up the game, and I'm presented with Red and Blue. They talk about a politician. Blue expresses his distaste for politicians. Red states he has robots to kill and level start. What? Why are we killing robots? What does a politician have to do with anything? Whats Blue's name? Well, I played on to see if my questions will get answered. Run, run, run through a level. A claw grabs Red who is comparing the weather to the devils dick. Run, run, run through a cheese level. We meet Green again. It becomes apparent that Green is the politician. Red seems displeased at Green. Green throws Red overboard. "Augh". Red shrugs it off and simply decides to run, run, run through another level. I stopped playing. I have no idea where this story is even going. What is this politician running for? Why was there an area full of cheese? Maybe I'd learn the answers to my questions later on in the game, but I did not have the motivation to continue playing this game. We have to have a goal in sight if you want us to keep playing. A giant turtle has kidnapped the princess? Well, lets-a go! I had reached stage 4 and there was still no point or purpose other than "Well, here I am. Run, run, run!".

Gameplay - Stable. I didn't encounter any bugs or glitches so you did a fine job there. Although in the fourth level theres a sign that shows Red ground-pounding a box. I recalled passing a box so I went back to smash it to pieces... only to find that I couldn't. Was this intentional? I'll never know.

Characters - Red immediately confused me. A red character with black eyes, blue pupils and some sort of grey headband. An... interesting color scheme to say the least. But who is he? Whats his story? Is that really a headband on his head or what? There has been virtually no character development up to the point I reached other than Blue and his dislike of politicians.

Music - Ouch, ouch, ouch. Much of the music is simply painful to listen to. The planet screen where you choose the levels has this old-fashioned carnival music that just doesn't match at all. And lets not forget the music on stage 3: chickens! You may have thought "Hey, this is a silly song! I'll go ahead and put it in the game." but its one of those things thats funny at first and quickly gets annoying. Music in flash games are usually easy-listening loops so that we don't tire of listening to it. Please carefully choose your music next time.

Summary - Although you put lots of time into this, I can't say that I liked it very much. The problems mentioned above really drag down the "enjoyment" factor of the game where I just had to stop at level 4 and look for something else to do on Newgrounds.

This game could have been a thousand time better than it was. While the graphics and animation weren't great, they were good enough to make the game fun, if the game was itself enjoyable. The controls were okay, if a bit sticky at times, but the spinning gimmick didn't add anything and actually took away from the game. The game itself seems to not know whether it wants to be a speedy action filled game or a platformer where the slightest misstep sends you to your death. It seems as if you barely tested the game, signified by the fact that if I died while trying to use the boost, I was sent back to the start of the level, because the boost button was the same as the hotkey for restart. The story was generic and a little hard to follow because of the scene transitions, but I could deal with that up until the point where a blackhole opened up and sucked Moovlin in. Before it does he says "Where the heck did that come from" , my sentiments exactly. He proceeds to fall onto a planet where trees watch him and speak French, and then they are never seen again. During that level Moovlin sprouts bird wings, that is where I realized that you stopped caring about the story. From then on nothing makes enough sense for me to take the story seriously. The politician is evil, but the player hears no motives and there is no reason for him to develop powers, like the ability to fry people with electricity while holding on to them. You toss in some lame jokes to try and maintain interest but it just makes it worse. As for the music, some of the music was okay but very little of it fit the actual settings. To top it all off even you say the game sucks, if a game you make sucks you shouldn't just release it anyway, you should perfect it so it meets your standards. I'm not saying that you suck or that you can't make games, all I'm saying is that you set the bar too high, you should have tried making a smaller game first so that you could perfect it, or you should have made a level or two perfect to start and then gone from there. You have potential, it's just that you have to focus on the game rather than on cutscenes and extras and medals. By the way, I didn't like the game at first but I forced myself to play it as far as I could until I really just hated it, the fish boss was annoying in an already annoying water level, which the game could have done without, and while I could have beaten it, I was just fed up with the game at that point. Anyway I'm saying this just so you know that I played the game further on so I could make an informed review rather than just saying that it sucked.

All in all this game had potential, but all the extra stuff just takes away from the already somewhat lacking gameplay elements. I recommend trying again with something new, but outline the ideas first. Make sure that you know exactly what kind of game it will be and stick to that plan. Outline the story and if it starts to get to ridiculous, see if you can end it in a satisfactory way, but most important of all put the gameplay first and iron out all the bugs and annoying parts before focusing too heavily on things like cutscenes. Oh, and also make sure that you try again no matter what because if you don't work at it you won't be able to prove all the people who hate this gane wrong.

Not terrible

I commend your effort of putting so much time into a game. The movement is pretty smooth, know what, it is terrible! It doesn't look like you spent that much time on it.....
