This game is about two lovers named January and September.
No, wait; it's about a group of people who don't believe in the sky.
No, it's about a pantheon of scientific disciplines.
Or maybe it's about an ancient beast who knew exactly when it was going to die, and how.

It's about a place. A place called Looming.

wow this game is awesome

it is so awesome it made me play it for two hours trying to find all portals and secrets. I found the two cultures fascinating.

I have systematically searched the whole area and I cant find Oarbor Bone V
or Lorem Tablet II. Where the heck are they?!

10/10 and 5/5 :D

i happened to look at GregoryWeir's medals and he only has the "traveler" one. I ask "why?"

GregoryWeir responds:

I've played the game so many times while making it that I haven't gotten around to beating it again on Newgrounds...

great game + penis!

I thought the atmosphere was excellent, everything from the audio (wind, quiet SFX) to the black and white shading. I was intrigued by looming, and have even drawn much inspiration from it for my d&d game.

The relationship between september and january was great, although I must admit, early on I didn't read anything, so I missed a lot. I'll clear the data and go back, though. I'm hoping there is some conclusive ending, although I'm not sure there will be.

my favorite part were the stars. using them twice was very clever. I won't say more, though, for fear of giving too much away.

I've completed everything but the second dot and the second secret medal. I'm determined to figure it out on my own, but I'm stumped right now. but then, maybe tomorrow. there's always more time to spend in looming.

Oh yes, there are some accidental penises hidden in the paths. probably accidental, anyway.

It's a great game, but my only niggle is once your down to the last item it becomes almost impossible to find it unless your lucky or drawing a map at the same time.
An auto drawn map or a sound effect when your in the vicinity of an object would be nice.
