This game is about two lovers named January and September.
No, wait; it's about a group of people who don't believe in the sky.
No, it's about a pantheon of scientific disciplines.
Or maybe it's about an ancient beast who knew exactly when it was going to die, and how.
It's about a place. A place called Looming.
Still one of the most beautiful and intriguing exploration games I've ever played. It's how I learned of Myst too! Playing it again got me wondering how the Oarbor could've looked like, hehe. It's also more tightly designed than what I remembered - any artifacts that you can unearth are always near a path or landmarks that you'll visit, so thankfully you never have to meander around the deserted wastes to stumble into anything by luck. Very satisfying to explore.

Over 10 years later and still a fantastic game. Hope it gets put on Steam in the near future
Really happy to revisit this art piece and also excited that ruffle runs it.
