Although it's two summers away, you need to get practicing your Javelin throwing if you're to bring home the gold medal from London.

OK game for killing some time

I think this is an average game for some quick coffee time fun. The graphics are average, though the animation is somewhat clunky. I don't know was it just me, but there was no sound. Well, at least there were no irritating sound effects.

The biggest problem I had was with the menu system. It seems that the menu shown between throws or after the last throw sometimes locks and doesn't let you return to the main menu. This would seriously need a fix.

All in all, this game isn't anything awesomely spectacular, but it's not bad either. I'll try to top my 109.15 throw for the next 5 mins.

Not terrible

But below average.

Art and animation are fine and work well, so I am just going to give a quick thumbs up and move on. Having three distinct throwers was a nice touch.

The problem is sound and the lack there off. Where is the roar of the crowd when you throw you javelin (or the grown when you fall flat on your face)? Without so much as footsteps for the thrower the game feels far from finished.

The mechanics are fine, though lacking anything feeling new or entirely original. The final slider to determine angle caught me by surprised when I discovered you could not wait for the meter to come back around and had to get it on your first try, but once I knew it didn't hinder me. -Maybe have a practice round so everyone will know the controls?

But a large problem I found is a bug. Once my 3 scores are totaled I received a silver medal and was prompted to press menu to start over again. But the button doesn't work, leaving me stranded on the final score screen.

Overall, not bad but not great. The bugs and the lack of sound make it seem as though this isn't a finished piece of work. But, in a larger game with more Olympic sports, it would be a fine addition.
