This functions really well, especially for a first project. I appreciate that you gave the player some sort of goal other than just "survive". Although the orb collecting is a simple addition, it adds a lot more to this game than exists in it's peers. Furthermore, it adds the depth of challenge as you have to collect 5 orbs without dying to see the boss.

This is my frist flash game I ever programed. I leard alot when makeing it. To win you have to get 5 orbs to face the boss. Its really easy to beat but fun to play. So take a little time out of your day and play. Thank you.

So it seems to be another one of those open source side scrolling shooter games that were popular around the early 2000's.
This one is a little better than the average because it has collectibles and a boss, but is cancelled out by the fact that a rocket does half your health making it needlessly difficult and tedious.

not bad but nothing special... i dont know maybe its just not my type of game but it just wasnt that amusing for me.
good job still maybe next time make it so when youre not movig youre man he floats away that way its more dificult. also ad more sound effects!
