im working on this and thought that the newgrounds community could give me some help the game you move using the arrow keys jump is up attack is space
problems i cant figure out:
1 it runs really slow with the back grounds there i dont know why or how to fix
2. if you die thats it you have to reload i cant figure out how to script it to go back and play or reload the clip
3. attack hits the enemy but then b/c the hero char is coming in contact with the enemy it dies also...
like i said its not any where close to being finished just wanted some help pls msg me can provide source data if needed.

I can't program at all, so I can't help you with the problem, sorry...
The main thing is our trying as well as you can.
I don't honestly expect this to be accepted, but maybe if you did get those things fixed, it could be...
Some other minor things to mention:
I was moving along, then I died.
The character's movements are robotish, to say the least...
To anyone else reading this that DOES know how to script, think you could give 'em some pointers?

But you are trying, that matters..
Needs a lot more scripting...
First off, use more background. Second, might be helpful to use a health bar system rather than one hi K.O.'s.
