Nice
Its a really nice game, and i enjoyed playing it. and although it has some drawbacks compared to other tower defenses, its the best tower defense game a tibian player could imagine :)
Could use some work.
This is an average Tower Defense game overall. Previous reviewers have covered most of the issues already, so I'll just give my main complaint - the random damage. Having played a few times, I have had enemies get through on some waves and completely destroyed them on other attempts, all while using the same tower setup, because of the chance for 1-2 damage. It basically adds an element of luck that's less exciting and more of the game randomly deciding whether or not you should win.
The game is by no means exceptional, but it's hardly mediocre other. If you made the damage consistent and did some other tweaks this would become a respectable TD game.
Bland for a TD
The map's 3 linear paths confused me in the beginning; not until I started the first level did I understand how they were supposed to go. Also, the map offers little strategic placement of towers, essential in a TD. (You could place towers on the path to create a maze -like Wintermaul One in Warcraft III or have a winding path that will prioritize an area over another -like Bloons TD or Gemcraft, both great TD's on NG)
As mentioned below, the drop rate for money is rather pathetic, and I find the monsters rather ambiguous for one who has never played Tibia before (so you aren't getting any brownie points from me). It would be nice if there was a heads up whether they are fast, lots of health, etc.
It would also spruce up the game if you included more than one linear upgrade per tower... like for the sorcerer, have him either upgrade into a ice sorcerer (low damage slowing), fire (medium damage damage over time) or lightning (variable damage from low to high). If such a system is implemented into a sequel, it would be nice for each monster specie to have a passive resistance to discourage cookie cutter distribution of towers.
All in all, this is a mediocre TD; graphics are pleasant, some music would be nice, and a LOT of improvements could be integrated into the game.
