Hey, guys. This is a project for a highschool English course, and I was exceptionally proud of it. The Shakespearean play, Macbeth, is normally a very complex piece of literature but with the coming of creativity it is able to be parodied and simplified.

> Five minutes long.
> Over 25 hours of work
> Took a month
> Everything is hand drawn, except when it isn't... it's also POORLY hand drawn
> I didn't submit this intending for fives all around. I submitted this to show it worldwide.
> FAQs are in my credits page.
> Provided your computer doesn't suck, you can probably do with medium or high quality

Way to go Dan-o.

So you did upload this, hmm. I wasn't going to belive you but.... Okay.... Nice job, but you should have made it longer and dude, have a little more faith in your crappy drawing, It was still much better than mine. Which to be honest still isn't done, and was completely using madness sprites. Anyways kept trying, I'm sure you'll make a good animation someday. JK.

Acelinyth responds:

I tried to get only the absolute basics down - using basic measures like stick characters and recording off of a crappy mic. Knowing me, though, my first "good animation" is probably gonna be a sprite movie since we all know I can't draw worth shit. Unlike you I aimed to hit the deadline. ;P

Literary Inaccuracies?

Being a somewhat bigger book/English geek than a computer one I have slightly more issue with the references than the animation style, which is passable enough (I guess) for a long parody/amusing simplification.
As you mention it was for an English course, the actual story could have been more apparent...I dunno, I felt some scenes were a bit misleading and kinda short. That's okay but it missed some important scenes - ones which would have made it make more sense and could also have been made quite funny!
(e.g. The witches meeting MacB, Lady M going mad...etc.)
Still, it wasn't bad. :) Kudos for going for a literary subject.

...ridiculously slow

It's like being told to read a book out loud-but only for an old senile person. It could be going faster...and it could be interesting. But everything is boring and slow to the point where it's not a time to be patient-but rather, it is aggravatingly choppy and awkwardly timed.

Wait for dagger...
Wait for dagger...
A little more...
Wait for next scene...
Wait for next scene...
Next scene.

Good job though. I guess.

There is always a beginning.

I am going to see this as a concept sketch for what it really could have been.
I think that if you take the time to create a page saying "I am lazy" blah blah blah, then you should at least make a sour effort at creating some sort of cut animation. I would rather see poor animation then some horrible writing, which you probably wrote in a matter of.....well lets see.... a minute.

Although, I found it humorous in the most immature and childlike experience.
Really needs some work, I would say everywhere but at least you have the basics down.

Oh and I thought the horrible blood animation was suitable. The image you created worked well with the scene, style of animation, and level of animation.
