This is my first attempt at a Flash animation. Partially created due to filling a requirement for my Flash class, I also found it as the ideal way to put out an idea that came to my mind back in 2002. Preliminary planning and sketching took place at the end of February, and went into March until I got all the Illustrator files ready to import into Flash. I worked from 25 March 2010 until 25 April 2010 in Flash--my first attempt at anything to do with Actionscript 3.0.

It's rough, I know, with a low frame rate, but I think it gets the feeling across. Fair warning, it's not a particularly happy ending, and I have no plans currently to develop a story any further. I've still got a lot to learn with Flash, and sadly, not much time to do it with.

Have fun with it, and don't take it too seriously.

very good :)

very good for a first try though i think it could have had some explanation maybe some text at the begininning telling us the place and circumstances of this and maybe at the end suming up like what happened to the kid, the name of the girl who picked him up

Terrible art. Bad voice acting. Boring as fuck. Bad animation

Hm nice.

This is way better than my first flash. The animation was a bit slow and the acting had no emotion in it. I liked the story a lot, and I would like to see a sequal because of the way you ended it. Who was that girl? Who was the baby? Good job and keep up the great work.

This is what...

a first submission should look like! It gets kind of boring blaming 'first efforts' that authors put out anywhere from a couple hours to a couple days after first getting Flash. It's obvious that much time and energy went into this, and I applaud you for the effort.

The art style and music were very good. The animation was rather simple or not there at all frequently, though the lip synch was very impressive, especially given your experience. The voice acting was very dry though and probably the weakest part of the flash. The sound quality of it was fine, but the actors sounded very much like they were reading scripts rather than actually there in the moment.

Considering that this is a first for you, and you were working under some kind of time constraint, you should be very proud of this.
