What?

Good graphics and music, but the gameplay is very bad. Why does the character never die? How stops music? Why not win if I found 3 exits? :{

Nice for your second game.

This game has some potential, but does have a few problems. Now, I will break into parts to tell you what I thought of the game.

--Graphics--

This is where the game needs work, I know you probably just wanted to finish the game, submit it, and show it off to all your friends, but I think you could've tried much harder when drawing the things.
Also, something that I see on a lot of "nooby" submissions are tons of gradients on random objects. I am sick of seeing a lot of unnecessary gradients, they don't look good most of the time. I would personally rather see solid colours, especially on the pick up items.
The guy isn't that bad so I don't really have much to say about him. A small issue I saw was in the background, it didn't cover the whole screen. Not game breaking, but certainly something that can be easily fixed.

--Music--

The music did not fit the game what-so-ever, so you should rethink that, or at least think about what kind of music will fit the game better for future submissions.

--Gameplay--

The game wasn't nearly as fun as it could've been, if you made the framerate higher to something that is more acceptable in games then it would've been better. I am guessing that the framerate was 12 fps, which is okay in animations but flash games need something higher, like 24-30 fps.

--Overall--

If you fix some issues mentioned, and clean up the graphics a bit then I would rate this much higher. Unfortunately, it seems you didn't put too much effort into this and probably more or less copied it from a tutorial.

Needs intro & instruction screen. Music is good but not really appropriate to the game. Hard to control movement.

not too horrible for your second game. but you should pick an actual song, many people hate that band. go for a more neutral song loop
