dude I think you just made a flash about me lolz
Feedback; Tout de suite.
Compared with what I've seen of the rest of your work, this is not the best on any level; the artwork is surreal instead of realistic, but perhaps I'm simply paying more attention to that, due to the lack of music.
There is little to no storyline, but instead an endless loop. We see a lonely caveman throw a rock, then see a female hunter, and smile. The spider shows the dirt of the caveman, and his quick transformation after he finds a 'love.'
There is some minute degree of storyline that may be squeezed out of this, and it's enough to remain intriguing. I certainly suggest increasing the length, storyline, adding music and voices, [[potentially.]]
Not bad for an unfinished project, and I usually dislike when people make such a short preview, for it feels like they're simply advertising; however, you seem to be genuinely asking for advice on where you would like to see it go from here instead of asking people to com to some website and for that, I salute you.
Well, this was a final project for Basic Flash in school, and the animation itself was based off of a mid-term project in storyboarding for the semester before it. This loop is probably 1/10th of the entire storyboard.
...Like, after this, he goes around dressing himself up, cleaning with Caveman hygiene and finding gifts for her...then he confronts her, shit gets outta control...you'll see when it's finished. :D
Really smooth animation. The close-up was awesome with the spider popping out of his hair. I can't wait for a finished version with sound!
Me neither! Gah, this thing is so overdue. 2011, I swear :D
i really like the close up shot of his face and since hes very smooth and nice when your not close up (which is understandable for animation) on the close up i think ahould be alot of detail like all his pores and wrinkles and such. i like the idea and the storyboard
very awesome keep up the good work :)
I'm usually pretty conscience about adding wrinkles, especially around the eyes, and indeed, I did that at first with that JPEG in photoshop. But I thought against it as it made him look a little too old. Still, I agree that much more detail could have been added, and the entire reason I got a sponge as the texture for his nose was to emphasize on the pores.
Thanks very much for the review!
It looks quite good!
I'd really like to know what happens next, becaues I, have absolutely no idea what will happen afterwords. Keep up the good work, looking forward to seeing the finished product!
*sigh*...Yeah. I'm sure you haven't a clue what's going to happen next....ya fuckin'.... >:(
Oh! And thanks dude!
