Trafalgar Origins is an educational online game set against a backdrop of British, French and Spanish tensions during the Napoleonic wars. In the game you take command of a Royal Navy ship and her crew, to go to battle in historical recreations of Napoleonic naval battles.

There are two modes of gameplay - Single Player and Multi-player.

There are 18 single player missions in total, split into 3 main groupings of Training, Arcade and Historic.

Training missions help you learn how to sail their ship as well as build up and manage your crew.

Arcade missions build on skills acquired during training, enabling you to take part in real nautical exercises, defeating foes, sinking ships and collecting loot.

Historic missions recreate actual skirmishes experienced by Nelson and the allied navy where you pit your skills against enemy ships.

The multi-player option allows you to play together in real time against up to four other users.

Have fun!

This game rules.... nuff said

From the very first time i tried this game, it looked very promising and unique. I wasnt dissapointed, yet i WAS at the same time. I love the realistic control of the ship, dont listen to those other douchbags. If you listen to them, it would ruin everything and turn this flash into a generic kiddie game. It was well done, yet somtimes (only somtimes but often enough) the battle would look as if it were just a bunch of toy boats in a bathtub (enemies that do triple 360's in 3 seconds because they caught a draft, etc).

The choice on how to run and upgrade your ship seemed promising but it ended but being extremly restricted as the only thing you can do is buy crewmen that enhance a certain skill..... and seriously.... only 5 crewmen? lol. Once you buy the best crewmen (which isnt difficult at all...) the upgrade process is over since you cant upgrade your weapons or the actual ship, which really sucked. On top of that, the game is very short so maxing out your ship (ehem, crew i mean) is childsplay. Ive still got about 1700 gold just sitting around that will never go to use because theres nothing else left to do..... Multiplayer is what keeps me coming back to this game, thanks god you added that in!!!! Well im not going to keep rambling on about what i think could be better sooo

More historic levels
MORE CUSTOMIZATION (its non existant so far so im not quite sure what i mean when i say "more")
New weapons
Fix freezing issues (after a few games you have to re-load)
Blah blah blah More ship battle realism blah blah blah Ocean current effects blah blah blah

Fun, but no Zoom...

I really wish you had the ability to zoom in and out, other than that though, enjoyable.

I guess it's realistic...

Realism has a point, and a place, but not when it hinders gameplay. It's fun, just not fun to play.

Very nice

Good game, very well polished and a clean look overall.

Only problem is severe lag - im playing this on a quad core 4GB machine and it still lags like a mo'fo, so its not hardware lag.
