i dug it
pretty interesting. the only thing that bothered me was the wind sound effect. sounded like someones breath lol. other than that really cool
It was the only wind soundI could find on the internet, sorry about that.
Style was superb and stayed mostly consistent. Scene progression was interesting and used a lot of camera angles to show the fight, which I liked. Animation-wise, I felt that the sword looked too weightless the way it was being handled. Slicing through something with a sword requires the body's full force behind it, with proper technique of course, so there should be more movement in the legs and lower body to provide the momentum for each swing. Overall nice work though.
Its true I forgot or missed some details about that, Ill try to improve this kind of things on my future animations :)
This guys brother was kidnapped and brainwashed and he was forced to kill his own brother. In this flash it seems that there isn't enough fury. Also there wasn't enough building climax to the boss' death. It seemed kinda suddden. Im not an artist myself but i do know that you should've added more leading up to the final end.
Good job though
Reminds me of Red Moon which I greatly enjoyed, but I'd like to know why this random guy (girl? kind of ambiguous) walks up to some unarmed monsters and starts hacking at them. That's just rude.
My gripe is mainly in the lack of consistence between the scenes. His sword appears on his right hip, but in the next scene he draws from the left. He does a thrusting motion with the sword for the finishing exchange, but in the next scene he does a horizontal cut. Blood drawn on one side of the face appears on the other and such.
These are little things, but they add up and diminish their impact since they are inconsistent. Keep your eyes on the whole and not just the scene-by-scene choreography, as the rest is well delivered
