Oh no! A video that has a political agenda behind it! Whatever shall I do?

Upload it anyway.

As the tension of the Seniors at St. John's Jesuit High School rises with the end of the year, a battle between employees mounts to epic levels. Who will win? Internet memes, of course!

Until then, A SPARTA REMIX.

Edit: New[er] and [more] Improved Graphix[, so I don't feel bad when I have to look at this again]! Never have to listen to bad Youtube videos from three years ago ever again! (Unless you're ignorant, like myself.)

I only take credit for the art, and not even all of it. Everything else... isn't mine.

sorry, disregard my previous review below. guess I didn't understand something, judging on the description. though I was rating the actual music video itself, and the way you animated it.

still something you may wanna think about.

Well, this was an uncreative concept. First of all, by the time you created this, Sparta remixes were already heavily outdated and overdone. By now, only 12-year-olds would find Sparta remixes funny and even then, I'm sure many have moved past the "over 9,000 spartas" phase.

That being said, the shots were not creative. During the "this is sparta" what do you have? A guy saying, "this is Sparta." During the "tatatatatatata" part what do you have again? A guy saying "tatatatatata."

This is a battle? If you're going to do it to such an odd song like this, do it in the form of an AMV, with battle shots that are correspondingly synchronized to the music. Maybe cut out the lip-syncing and place it on a layer, in a movieclip/graphic and in the top left or top right corner.

We have two guys doing what looks like a funky dance, the second guy doing the exact same dance. It's ridiculous, a bunch of unoriginal clips synchronized to an even more unoriginal song!

Hope this helped, this has potential, the art's even decent. It's just plagued with unoriginal cinematography.

Old meme, old animation

To be honest the animation is poor, repetitive, and the overhaul quality isn't that high.

You should've made a better animation, with more randomness sticking more to the "wtf" atmosphere of the orignal meme.

I know I could've done a better animation, although I sometimes wonder if this is the current extent of my skills. Except maybe shading some more or making more backgrounds and animations... I'm not certain I could do much better with the quality.

I should've, yes... but time taunts me with my half awoken dreams that surface with only a night for me to finish them. Yes, I took six hours to do this. Maybe... once I try a more serious and long-term goal for a flash video, I'll give myself much more time. Maybe... I'll have much more quality as well.

I don't really know much of the "wtf atmosphere" you mention. I'm guessing that the political agenda I mentioned before got in the way of that... but I'll also say again that I can see vaguely of my improvement of three years' time. I still have a world to learn, but at the same time I have knowledge from before...

And I have no clue why you used "overhaul". Maybe you meant "overall"? Is that some sort of slant rhyme you placed there? Or are you talking about the animation, where I drew almost every frame in that animation? Whatever you meant, that word gets me...

So, thank you for your response.

Can we...

Let this meme die? please?

supersysscvi responds:

Let it... die? Death is such a... drastic thing. Why would you wish for something to die?

Although I detest it... I'll try to take some time to think on it. Why this or any other memes should go die...

supersysscvi responds:

Huh. Thanks?
