I highly reccomend going through the walkthrough, once you get the hang of flinging the ball at just the right time you'll be able to fling it really far and the game won't be as difficult.
It was designed to be a challenge!

Good idea, needs improvement
Really good idea, it's just not well executed. The big problem is that when using the mouse, it is FAR too easy to leave the little game area and unintentionally open other tabs or windows. I didn't particularly like the fact that there was only a small area that the cursor would go into before you threw the ball, but it was a good idea for it to expand every time you screwed up.

It's a difficult problem...because without that box to hold the cursor inside...there would be nothing stopping you from just moving your cursor over to the goal.
As for hitting things outside the play area, I didn't experince this, but I can see how it would happen. Increasing the file dimensions could help with that.
