You are the first self aware artificial intelligence. You must infect ships' guidance systems to escape.

infect any ship you come across to escape humanity and ensure your safety.

Use the arrow keys to fly.

Use the A key to fire available weapons.

Use the S key to self destruct your current ship.

This game focuses on keeping a sense of speed that is lost in a lot of horizontal shooters. It also features geometry based collision detection, hopefully reducing the amount of wrongful damage taken in these kinds of games due to more simple forms of collision detection.

Hope you enjoy!

(EDIT) Thanks for the front page! I am glad to see so many are enjoying the game. Also special thanks to those who have posted comments and suggestions. I will not be able to reply to them individually, but I do read them all and appreciate the feedback.

Nice game but too short and lousy ending

The game is pretty simple and can be well developed. But overall i played around 20min and cleared the game.

I feel that the boss should be abit tougher and more kinds of ship to hijack maybe like those with laser? One example was i found the final boss a joke, i just camp at the left hand side of the map with the small ship kind and just hold 'A'. Maybe the boss could shoot some missile for some difficulty sake.

Hope there is a Ghost guidance 2, maybe with upgrade~ cheers

Really good game, enjoyed it immensely. Most of the comments below deal with any of the minor problems, so all I'll say is that I also found it to be too short - that's about the only fault I can find. It's fun, hectic and I can't even begin to thank you for adding the geometric collision detection to it - too many times have I played games like this and ended up in a sweary rage at the screen as my ship magically sucks in another bullet.

Good job, I'd love to see a sequel of sorts!

Three things to say

1. There is no real incentive to kill any of the enemies besides the bosses, they are easy enough to dodge, especially with the small quick ships. Why should I bother?

2. You give no reason as to why you can't infect the bosses, other than basic game logic saying you can't do that. At least make it so that once you defeat them you can take the remaining parts of their ship on to the next level.

3. Way too short for something this creative and just plain good.

I'm waiting eagerly for a sequel!
