Hey! To start this decade right, we believe Newgrounds should be ad-free for EVERYONE. For this to work, we need people who have the means to become paying supporters. For just $3 per month or $25 for the year, you can help this happen and get some nice perks!

For the month of January we have disabled ads on all E-M content. We need 181 people to reach our January goal of 3,000 active supporters. If we hit that, we'll continue with a new goal in February!

Well... It's been a while hasn't it?
Trumpets please... This is my 6th animation! Ooh! I'm proud!
This animation took just over three weeks to finish, and for the first time in my life - I actually kind of slightly enjoyed making it! Hopefully my joy will reflect onto you.

One thing I should mention, this is being entered into a competition which I won last year, (trumpets again). The competition rules state it has to be only a minute, so it's a little short, and a little tight - but I think it's sweet.

Well done!

I really enjoyed watching this on the day, on a big screen, but it's just as good like this. I think it definitely deserved to win!

I enjoyed it!

I really liked this animation. I like the length time, the music, the "magic tricks" and the general pace of it. I also like the white background, it makes everything more clearer and puts an emphasis on your characters and their movements, also the emptyness of their performance (no audience!) is reflected int hat background. It really does reflect the joy you put into it! Keep up the good work! I will be looking forward for more!

Not bad

It was worth a couple laughs, but you should have put him on a stage instead of having a white background. It would have been easier on the eyes.

CarrotCakeStudios responds:

I did think about using a background, however I felt it would ruin the emptyness. To combat it looking like I wasn't bothered I added a gradient and a grainy filter to the movie - it seems I failed on that front!

Thanks for the review!

Review No. 00001: A Performance...

Hmm, the graphics for this movie are respectable, I've suffered no loading issues whatsoever with this movie, the introduction of some childish humor has put somewhat of a smile on my face, although it was rather short, I do have to say that the music was fitting for this movie and the sound effects are top-notch, matching with the storyline of that poor fellow whose act get's hijacked by his partner, illustrating one of the everyday situations present in online social lives, the situation in which your thunder is stolen. Although it's little short, both on delivery of humor and length, it's still worth my rating of 8 stars. As well as my vote of 4. I shall await any future releases from this user with mild interest.

CarrotCakeStudios responds:

Thanks for the review.
I'm sorry that the length ruined it a tad for you, and I agree - it wasn't as funny as I had hoped, but a very fair score.

Funny, a great short comedy, your animations are good, keep it up!

CarrotCakeStudios responds:

Thanks! It's nice to know you liked it.
