It's kinda like a cross between Spore and WarCraft... maybe.

This is what happens when I don't have a job. Nice marmot, by the way. Also, for those of you that don't want to play the tutorial or just "don't get it..." here is how to play:

-Click on units to select (can drag box around to select multiple units)
-Deselect units with SPACE or the Deselect Button (bottom right)
-With unit(s) selected, click empty space to move, food unit to gather, cell pool to return food, or enemy unit to attack
-With single unit, click and drag from the Nucleobase Buttons (A, T, C, G) at the bottom of the screen into the DNA strand to edit DNA. Do this to make your cells BETTER.
-M - Split units
-Q - attack to (will move and attack along the way)
-P - create/join pool (can create new units there for free)
-X - stop actions
-1-4 - special attacks (if enabled)
-Arrows or WASD - move screen

Hover over buttons in-game to see what the hotkey is for it.

Serious tutorial problems...

Ok I started the tutorial and was going along fine with the intention of giving this game a ten, when suddenly for no apparent reason eight enemy cells came out of no-where and killed my entire species without me even getting to any section in the tutorial about attacking. I restarted the game and quickly rushed through the the tutorial up to the I was on, thinking I would just have to be quicker to get to the attacking bit. Once again I got attacked before I had even reached anything talking about attacking. I managed to survive with just my cell pool left by placing some penicillin into the game, which killed the final invader. I built a new cell and attempted to continue the tutorial, at which point several more attackers appeared with ranged weapons. At that point, I just stopped playing. So I think there could be improvements, but the main idea of the game was good.

Nemo responds:

I've fixed the bug that causes that, but the change needs to get approved before the file is switched. It should be switched sometime today, I assume. Sorry.

I really like the idea of having the near infinite evolution with the individual cells and the mitosis worked out quite well for copying my best troops but not only did it seem very easy but I would like it if you made some processes un-interrupt-able as my cells would stop in the middle of mitosis because I clicked accidentally.
Also, please remove the enemy player in the tutorial. In the middle of one of the messages a vast horde of red cells came down and crushed me :(

Great Game! But there are a few flaws.

Great game man. I loved it. To tell the truth, I was wating for someone to make a game that was something like this. I love games where you can Evolve your units and such. These are the flaws that I noticed:

- Camera Movement (wasn't that bad but could be improved)
- Unresponsive commands (i would click on a unit and tell it to move/gather/attack, but it would not do anything. it would just select what im gathering/attacking.)
- Some units wouls suddenly stop when they are moving for like 1 second. When I tell them to move again, they go about 3 feet and stop again. I'm not really sure if this is a flaw or just something I need to upgrade, but i'll figure it out.

Other than that, great game.
