5 Shades!

Welcome to the newest of The Five Shades collaborations, back after years since the last. Today we tackle Orange, with the theme word being "Ring". Artists were asked to use five specific shades of Orange to create whatever animations their imaginations could provide.

For more of The Five Shades, check out the home of the series right here on Newgrounds: /collection/thefiveshades .html

Artists include: Flying Giraffe, Nayhan, Falling, Carton O' Milk, Carrot Cake, Tim P., Thomas Todd, Cloud Eater, JKR, and Bogoblin. A huge thanks to everyone who participated! EDIT: And SUPER thanks for the front page honor. We all appreciate it greatly!

This was spectacular!!! incredible work by everyone!!!! ^_^ I really Like Flying Giraffe's flash!! :3

JKR responds:

Flying Giraffe really did do a terrific job on his. I'm a little envious of the camera angle from below with the guy hanging out the window. I wish I'd thought of that. But overall I think everyone did a bang up job this time around. Anyway, thanks for leaving a review!

Can't really see the point in restricting the shades to one colour, its doesn't add anything. As usual for collabs of seperates some very basic stuff gets through on the coat tails of good work.

Made me smile a little, some good animation and all good sounds in there. All well put together.

JKR responds:

Restricting the colors allows, or rather FORCES, the animator to make different choices than they might otherwise. It's a great exercise to improve things you would never even think about with full color. You have to balance things more, and really look at the whole picture since you are limited. Anyway, glad it made you smile some, because after all that's the whole point of doing amusing animations! Cheers.
