This game is perfect for a reflex-based mechanic runner. Excellent story, music, art and CODE (this may be at dispute, but on my story mode run, I was never faced with *literally* impossible obstacles).
Almost all my deaths were caused by duelists after they made debut into story mode. Reaction time is minimal as they ride against you. Sound warning is acceptable, but theirs are (initially, at least) very similar to rider's cries, later on.
Nice trolling you did there - throwing in peasants after many WASD-based waves. Forced use of spacebar after some intense wasding.
"After Hippolyta left captivity, she calmed down and finally came to her senses. She was never a slave. She was their last hope. The last hope of farmers that ask a horse riding slave where she is going. The last hope of hoplites that couldn't beat light cavalry (at least without dying in the process). The last hope of horsemen that try to catch a naked woman on horse while wearing plate armor, helmet and spear. The last hope of a civilization that set up tents in the middle of the road. She had to go back. She wanted to. She tried to, but... that was not what happened."
