This is the second and perhaps the last demo you will see of "Timing" until its release.. i have been working on and off with this and there is obviously still a lot of work to be done.

good!

this was pretty good, just 3 things need to be adjusted for the full game:
1:Less time to react
2:More of a story
3:better graphics like in the main screen!

okay

just make it longer I really don't care about the graphics

ITS EASILY MADE

yeh, good try. you could try better on your drawings...

Good idea, fair work, but pretty unprofessional.

I like the general idea of using the keys in time before your character dies, but there's a lot you need to work on.

Graphics:
No offense, but the graphics I saw in this demo didn't look very good. It looked kind of newb, to be frank. Your text looks bad, your explosions (the rocket death) even worse. If you cleaned it up (in general and the specifics I mentioned), and made it smoother (i.e. the checkpoints or deaths), it can be much better. Your title screen with the main character had him drawn fairly well. Try emulating that for the whole thing. Add some 3-D in if possible. And KEEP IT CONSISTENT. In many parts the specific shape of things such as the main character would be different. Major drawing differences look unprofessional and are a turn-off.

Deaths:
It takes far to long to die. There was at least a good two seconds to press the needed key before dying. That defeats the name of the game. The scenes were also messy, graphic wise. Clean them up and shorten the time.

Tap Scenes:
These are second only to graphics in terms of priority. They need major fixes. First of all, I can just hold the key and it will go fast. That obviously defeats the point of the tap scene. Plus, the graphics were pretty bad, The first one was choppy, and you left out important parts such as the character's hair, making it look fairly unprofessional. Lastly, is there really much point in the tap scenes if you have unlimited time? I can understand for when you get up (which doesn't really need a tap scene in the first place), but when you are running after the guy who tried to kill you, he should finish at a certain time. He should be running when the scene starts, not running when the player tap. Only the player character should run when you tap, because that means the scene's success depends on them, otherwise it's just a manually operated flash scene.

Audio:
barely any audio, whether it's talking, sound effects, or music. There wasn't even an exploding noise when in the rocket death. A silent flash game is quite often a bad flash game. Add in audio, especially music and sound effects.

Lots to fix. I hope you take what I say into consideration.

sjpicci responds:

Thank you so Much those are all things i will DEFINATLY take into consideration... this is still in the very early stages of production so i will definatly fix all of that before the final release, thank you again for the review

Graphics

hum. maybe not have the interlude with the checkpoint mention. And better graphics would help
