im not going to pay to go over level 7!
This is release version 2.00 of Darkness Springs, nearly a complete rewrite. Based on your feedback (thanks!), I added the following new features:
- Intro and Mainmenu
- Ingame map
- Teleporting back to the village
- Realtime highscore list
- German translation (if you are on a german PC)
- Saving and Loading everything easily also from this website
and a lot more.
If you haven't played this yet, there is a detailed help in the game.

Has alot of Promise
As TheBallCow below pointe out some of the things that could be improve, I have a few things that seem to take away from the fun of the game.
1. Use of some items? After playing for a long time I have began to wonder if there is a use for the books that some monsters drop since you cant sell them to anyone. Thus they just take up valuable space in your inventory. Also the mushrooms & the flowers that you can pick up. I know they are there for a few quests that you have to collect them for, but other than that they are useless. Finally, the unique items cant be sol, which is a bit problematic.
2. Premium Account. Might just be me, but it seems impossible to finish the game without getting a premium account. Now i understand how it can be useful to help make money, but when you account for all the improvements the game requires, it really doesnt make alot of sense to buy a premium account.
In conclusion, the game has a lot of promise to be really great, but you might want to think about making some of the items having more uses than the already have.
it was kinda boring
i liked thee way you put together the rpg style of things but it got boring after a while.
Eh...
I give you an 8 because of the good actionscript and graphics, but it wasn't my kind of game and i think it where kind of boring, so an 8 for you
P.S. it reminded me of runescape
It was fun for a little while
But the generic scenery and rpg monsters made it get old pretty fast...
The game just feels kind of... dry. Not really all that exciting for me at least.
I give you an 8 solely based upon the games mechanics and graphics.
Overall, I think it was pretty good; however, the rehashed story and generic monsters really kind of ruined it for me.
