Battle of the Chimera

This is an animation which me and my friends did two years ago (2008) for a Flash animation assignment in university. I edited a bit a few days ago, and decided to upload it here. It was the first time I'd ever make an animation and also the first time I'm using Flash that time.

The story was originally about a terrorist attack in our town, Cyberjaya... and one hero came to the rescue. But then due to my lecturer's personal opinion, I had to change the entire thing to a virus attack on a person's PC in Cyberjaya, sounds funny isn't it. This project went on getting me full marks on the assignment.

The music was borrowed from Persona 4, composed by Shoji Meguro. I didn't have time to look for a composer back then, cuz I only have a month to finish everything... so I borrow it from the P4 soundtrack I bought during that time.

The reason of having such a weird name for the animation, "Battle of the Chimera", is because I was still young when I was made this, around about 17 years old... and a bit of a JRPG geek...

Ha ha HA!

I found this very funny because my computer got infected recentley. It's become completley unusable (i am typing this on my mums computer). All in all, quite funny.

kinda broing and not long enough

This is pretty bad. The graphics are choppy, there was hardly any action. 3/10 1/5

JakeL168 responds:

well... this was done way back in 2008, I haven't touch Flash before that... But thanks for your comment, I'll try to improve more on my graphic on my next Flash submission...

I have a soft spot for this sort of thing

as a fellow jrpg geek, I must say that these sorts of animations do tend to strike a chord with me. I liked the horse enemy and some of the animation and special effects were pretty decent. Still though, I can't give it too high a score because the artwork and execution could be a lot better and the timing is awkward at points. Still though, this shows potential, good luck!

Good...but a little more blood and virus will make it better
