This is my first animation I have submitted for over half a year, I believe. I've been on and off this project ever since December, and it's a great relief to finally have it finished - I've been working on the project little by little until this week where I actually started to care about this project, so I hope it's all paid off.

The idea behind this flash is one I had for a while - just floating around in my head: laziness. This flash is based on laziness and how we are not willing to help ourselves, others or the surroundings if it does not benefit us - how we are prepared to sit around and do nothing instead of actually working; exercising; etc, etc. I'm not saying as a species we are really rubbish - just a lot of us are, and we definitely need to change.

I guess you could say it's sort of ironic, but I won't explain why just for those who haven't watched it yet. :P

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this flash - and I hope, at least, it provokes a thought or two. Wibble wobble jelly on a plate.

it definitely made me think about my life, although the flash is a bit enigmatic in places i still love it all. great work and a nice song too whats it called?

Lovely but it felt unfinished

This felt better then the last flash I can remember you submitting. The animation was better. I loved when the character was moving towards the building and we saw the building get closer. It shows that you've been improving a lot.

When I say that it felt unfinished, I guess I expected to find out who the other people were, the ones who came to the dumpster after the aerial disappeared. Felt like it was leading to something but it ended very quickly after that.

It was nice though. Once again a good choice in music, as always.

Mechabloby responds:

I wanted something very subtle going on there - I believe I achieved it effectively. Will it make you feel any better if I told you their intention was to look in the dumpster for other "technical devices"?

in the end: have your own intepretation on things - think independently: who do you think they are?

Great work.

I'll start off by saying I did love the use of Alberto Balsam, it suited the animation very well and in my opinion added a just that little dose of ambience to the animation it needed. Was a good little story, and it was a really good watch. . I watch this every now and then for inspiration. . From the times we've spoken before, I think you doubt yourself a lot, and way too much for that matter, the time and effort you put into this shows and so does the dedication throughout the body of your work from when you started to now. By the way, the wobbles OWN (they're what makes it your signature thing) :D!

Anyway, to the flash animation in hand I wasn't that much of a fan of the animation behind the pre-loader. . to me it didn't seem to go that much with it (nothing big though)
At the beginning of when the animation started, it was like the road sort of ended like a cliff (as it warbled). . I guess there was nothing wrong with that, but it just seemed a bit of an 'off the page' thing and I wasn't sure about that (again nothing big). .

The rest was awesome, very well executed and he turned into the blob ;D! Mechablob? Hehehehehehehehe. Awesome as always man, I hope you'll be able to get some new stuff out in the future *fingers crossed*

Anwar Louis ^_^

BIG UPS PLAYA hehehe. x3

This Apex Twin that you used looks like it has some very good music. Simple story, good art, and maybe even some sort of message instead of just art for arts sake. I wouldn't really give you any advice or anything because i learned not to argue Aesthetics.

Aphex Twin is an IDM musician - if you liked the song I used in this flash, I'd suggest you listen to some of his ambient works like Mookid; Xtal; Green Calx; Wet Tip Hen Ax; Flim; IZ-US. He's a brilliant musician, and I have been a fan of his works ever since I was about 9. :]
