A good first game
Love the genre and this is a good take on it, a little bit of polish on the graphics and maybe slowing the gameplay down a tad and you are on to a winner.

Hmm.
The overall mechanics of the game seem to be alright, however, the game itself seemed to fast to play. I couldn't shoot too many enemies because I kept bumping into the enemies and dieing.
Also, a list of controls would be helpful for all players. Perhaps some music as well?
(Also, I noticed a bug. If you hit the Keys/Options button, and then hit change keys, you can't exit out of the box and start the game.)

The mechanics are deliberately close to the 1970's arcade originals - so it's intentional even if not everyone likes it.
Thanks for the bug report. It seems that the keys window is not displaying online even though it works in normal testing. I'll have a look at that tonight and get a new version up asap. No wonder people are having trouble if they can't see/change the key settings. [Now fixed]
Personally I hate in-game music. But if enough people complain I might stick something in the next one.

Ehh...
Needs a fresher rebuild. You've got a solid mechanics, it just seems to be missing something.
I'm thinking a faster laser rate alongside better radar would make this game more enjoyable for me.
