Doom Ep. 1: The Lighter

This is a short Pilot (and a test) episode for my new series based on Doom charachters. There are some little mistakes, for example the voices aren't so clear and other little unperfections... And no Credits at this time... :p
I hope You like it!
Enjoy!

P.S. I didn't put the right size during submission... XD

Um..

This episode was too short. Also, you just need more improvement in this animation, you need voice actors, you need to make it very creative, and make a plot. Make sure it's very interesting. And sprites were pretty decent. But I did like the text "NOISE" in the beginning. Um...what font was that? It's pretty interesting. But anyway, keep working on this...I bet you'll get better.

So, you need a preloader. If you don't know what that means, that means it's the loading screen. Well, who's cares about that. Anyways, about the graphics, they weren't very good. The background was, but the people were not drawn well. But, the background looked very amazing for a first animation. Hey, who cares if people are being rude to you, this is your first flash, it can't be expected to be amazing.

The blood was pretty good, despite it should be a little better. Try your best on others, make the viewers cheer for your animation and you will be famous. You just need improvement on voice actors, and other of the stuff I said in that other paragraph. The whole animation was very short, I liked part of it but it really needs improvement. Despite you did a very awesome job on this. Good try though.

The concept was kind of ridiculous; I don't even get it so...you need details to show the storyline was true like you said in the description. Despite you did a very great try, as I said. The fonts you use like I said on other paragraphs were used greatly, on your next episode you could use those again. :P The doom characters were alright, you need to be more creative and you need more people giving you an excellent Current Score and the Average Score. I'm sorry if I took points away but this truly is a 2. So now here are my overall scores: :(

Graphics: 6/10
Voice Actors: 4/10
Sounds: 6/10

Oh yeah, one more thing, the sounds. The sounds were decent and were pretty good, despite you need better voice actors and need to be better! After you submit the next episode, I will make a review right there at the first day EVER and review on it. I'm not trying to be mean but I'm being honest in my opinion. But good try though.

I got to go now so bye-bye!

it was okay, but hard to understand

maybe try to use a different voice or use real voice acting

okay though

Okay, keep working on it...

I see what you were going for here, but yeah, I couldn't understand a word they said. Keep working on it!

...What?

First off, with the text box "NOISE" at the very beginning; Did you click and drag to enlarge it? If you'll look at it as the flash plays, it shakes all over the place, almost wildly, as it enlarges. Try saving the text as a graphic, creating a tween, and at the ending keyframe hold down shift as you drag the corner out to enlarge it. By holding down shift, it keeps the graphic proportionate so it doesn't warp, and by motion tweening the graphic, it'll enlarge smoothly instead of erratically.

While I'm all for Doom, as it shaped me into the person I am today when I was little, this flash doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Mostly because I can't understand what the hell either characters are saying...they're difficult to make out, and there aren't even any subtitles. Moreover, the voice of the zombie seems mismatched, and I'm uncertain if that was an attempt at a joke or not because it was so brief.

The whole thing is too bloody brief, and the punchline is missed on me, because I couldn't follow what the hell was going on through the dialogue you chose to do in this strange, strange format.

Moreover, although the font used was alright, we're treated to two backgrounds; gray and ONE Doom screen. Where's the shot diversity? Nowhere...and the beginning and ending gray is too bland and depressing; with a brand new Art Portal in the works, you shouldn't have a shortage of finding capable artists who could do a background or layout for you.

Keep working on it...the sprites synced up decently, but you should work on the overall presentation of the flash, clarity in your dialogue, and most importantly, content.

First of all, Thanks all for Reviewing. ;)
I see the main problem is the charachter's speech and I knew this... I tried to fix it but this is the best I could I do... Reall, I didn't want to put real voices into the video 'cause I like to use synth voices, created with "voice simulator" like "Eloquens" or similar applications. Next time I'll try to make bettere voices... ;)
Now the "Noise Title": it shakes because I wanted that it did!! LOL But I'm agree that all the titles ar poor. This was a Test, and what I tested is how to use sprites and how to use Flash Editing basically.

I just answered a this post, but thanks all for the tips!!
(sorry for my bad english... LOL )

OK, for a first go

it was ok, could have used clearer voices for starters, also it wasnt too clear on what was really happening. im sure with more time and maybe another try that this would make a fantastic series of shorts though. :)
