Simple, but very nice.

You show talent man, the game was simple, but had its touch of originality and the graphics was good.
Were the sound effects made with your voice? I liked them...

Unoriginal

It wasn't a terrible attempt for your first game, I mean I've seen much worse, but it wasn't good either. The concept has been done time and time again and your rendition wasn't a very good one. It was way too simple, all you did was haphazardly shoot the same enemys while dodging their never varying attacks. On the plus side, I did enjoy the bosses and graphics were pretty interesting, but that was about the only real enjoyment I got out of this game. But all is not lost, I'm sure if made another game (and put in much more effort!) you could do a much better job. Just try to be original and and add real substance to your game. Do you really just want to create something that's been done so many times before?

Shootorial

It is a good game for your first one but I can easily say that you made it with the shootorial on Kongregate so it's not entirely your own. Maybe you could add a pause button incase somebody playing it decides to use the washroom or something...

What makes this game really fun

is that you did all the sound effects yourself. It was pretty entertaining and a little humorous at the same time. I don't mean that in a bad way, though.

The graphics weren't bad either, it being your first game. It was cool how everything was hand drawn, like something from the corner of someone's class notes.

I think it'd be cool if you had a little music in the background, it'd have to be done vocally of course :D
