this game was way cool
5/5 10/10 i really enjoyed this game the physics were cool and it was challenging
Don't let these poor comments get you down, Torkvemada. You are right. There are plenty of people on here who don't realize how much work goes into any project no matter how small. As far as your game goes, I like it. I didn't get bored enough to quit and I liked the puzzles. Something to look out for though, do more testing as it was easy for me to glitch through certain areas of the game by "flying" and shooting copies of myself through walls (and not the kind of walls that are meant for that sort of thing).
Needs to be refined
This game is VERY similar to "Company of Myself" just not executed as well. Stacking worked batter in "Company of Myself" because he was square. With your character he is round and in order for your stacking to work you needed to make the boxes around the copies square... This makes the game mechanics a bit odd.
Also when you use the teleporter to flip you to the ceiling the controls should change, meaning jump should be down not up. I also ran in to the problem with not being able to move right on occasion which pretty much forces you to restart the level.
I can see you used A LOT of ideas from "Company of Myself" yet you make no mention of that in your comments. Give credit where credit is do man.
Lastly the dialogue needs to be worked on a bit. Some of the lines need to be reworded to make more sense.
It was alright for being a solo project, but it's not very fun. It's depressing mainly. The music, the dialog, and the story were all depressing. If I was a suicidal man, I think this might do it for me. Honestly.
I'm not saying your game makes people want to kill themselves.... but.... It would be enough to tie the noose. :|
The gameplay got boring fast too, and the graphics aren't anything special.
If you DO decide to continue to make games, try to bring up the mood a little, huh?
This game is riddled with glitches and bugs that sometimes break the game i.e. touching a copy of yourself with your right side results in you not being able to move right. But you got one thing right, you shouldn't make games anymore.
P.S. I'm gonna join the bandwagon, this game rips off The Company of Myself.
