Hot damn

Even if you don't read everything, even if you just skim, you get the gist of this flash. It's absolutely amazing and overwhelming all at one time, but it's a fantastic creation.

Oh my god.

This is f*cking amazing. You have a lot of time on your hands, and I'm glad you put it into this. Consider me educated! 5/5, 10/10, and 0.000000000000000000000000000001 out of 0.000000000000000000000000000001. :)

Thank you Professor Hawking

It's always nice to be reminded of the magnitude of the Universe around us. This reminds me of the old Scale of the Universe video I saw in class way back in Middle School. However, this is better because of how many comparisons it offers, the distance that it goes, and the ability to choose where to go.

As a future teacher, I might just let my students play with this instead of just watching an old video. If only this wasn't on a site as inappropriate as Newgrounds. haha.

A Wonderful Observation of our Universe

I have got to say, I have never realized the scale of the world, no, the universe, until I saw this.

I believe that the most wonderful thing about this flash is in the profound effect it has despite its simplicity. A simple bar that scrolls left to right was enough to explain the scale of the universe to the tiniest of the tiniest to the most unfathomable expanse.

While this flash does make me feel a bit insignificant, as it lays out how small we actually are compared to everything else, it also uplifts me in a way. It shows that we've come very far in understanding the universe we live in. After seeing this flash, now I'm wondering what kind of things we may find out next.

Ten out of Ten, Five out of Five. It's a wonderful flash, simply wonderful.
