Missile Rush is a defend your cities (missile command) game with updated graphics, particle based explosions and more. 3 modes of play to test your shooting reflexes. Completely mouse controlled, just point and shoot. Give it a try, I hope you enjoy it!

Missiles everywhere!

It's always nice to unearth truly great games! What made this game so good was how the graphics were just fantastic, especially with how everything contrasted with itself. The defending ships seemed to have a more old school design to them. The "enemies" and the way they exploded seemed a lot more technological. I have no clue what's up with those tie fighters, but they are also a unique and well-made addition.

At first I was afraid this might be too simple, but it's still addictive. The coolest thing was probably seeing the sparks fly as the arrows were blown apart. The sounds and everything else was authentic too. I just find it cool how all the defending ships move when you move your mouse, but still only one of them fires at the target. I can now assume "P" will usually make the game pause.

The cursor is too difficult to see against explosions and it's unclear where the blasts extend to, otherwise the graphics are great, sound is fine (a mute would be nice though). Automatic turret selction is intelligent enough and difficulty increases at a sensible pace, although imo the later levels in arcade are hard enough without throwing far more enemies than I have missiles for - maybe keep them fast and varied but reduce their numbers, or have a way to replenish missiles if you ever modify this game. Overall I like it though :)

an old mac game with colors. I think it's cool, but nothing more. And the loading screen has burned my eyes...

good stuff

i'm a big misslecommand fan and i really liked this. stick a trackball on it and put it in the arcade. my only complaints are minor and not really worth mentioning, and having an atlantis-style 3 gun setup makes up for it anyway. and it just straight up looks cool. a++ would play again.
