Great game...

... but level 60 is impossible. Try it to understand what I'm talking about.

good concept

Played the game for a while and liked the general concept, but the instructions were definetaly lacking =(
The tile color scheme is too similar, its hard to tell the different enemies tiles apart when they're all just different shades of brown...
Biggest issue i had which really aggravated me repeatedly was this tree VS non tree spots. The non tree tiles offer gold each turn but apparently tree tiles are useless? i'd get to a pint were all NPC's were elimated except 1, we'd each control half the map, his would all be non tree and i'd have 25 tiles, 13-14 of which would have trees... AHHHH!!!! GOD FORSAKEN TREES!!!
*ahem* sorry... like i said, the tress got on my nerves

Confusing at first but good game

Seems like people are voting low because of perceived glitches, it took me a while to figure out how the game works because of the limited instructions but I think I get why some people are having trouble:

1) gold is earned by each capital individually, based on the treeless tiles connected to it, and doesn't go to a shared pool - mouse over your capitals to see how much gold each one has
2) each peasant/soldiers wage is paid by whichever capital is connected to its tile; if the capital does not have enough gold (savings + earnings) at the start of your turn, men will die

Like I say it took me a while to get into it but I'm enjoying it now, nice simple graphics and the maps are varied enough to keep it interesting :)

It was interesting enough I think you did a good job, if you keep making games like this eventually you'll end up on the front page so keep trying man.
