A lot of text to read. I feel that this type of player training is disrespectful to the player.
There is always an organic way to train the player.
Smaller levels with fewer elements at first.
A game like this could easily be taught without a single word. And the player would enjoy it massively more for not having to read so much.
The best and smartest players hate reading the most. Because it doesn't allow them to use their brains and figure things out for themselves. In general, reading allows the brain to shut off, like watching a movie, and not have to think for itself or solve any problems.
Also... oh these good old days when flash authors didn't even allow movement to be WASD
It has potential
I like it, but there are some easy improvements to be made in my opinion.
Holding ctrl to fire in an arc is not fun. You should add a guided path to the game or come up with a different way of guided the shots. I admittedly didn't play the whole game so I am not sure if this is addressed later.
The character moves a little slow, and the graphical style feels "blurry".
Besides that, the basic mechanics in the game are quite enjoyable.
I liked it, you had to think fast, the fact that its a platform and a puzzle game kind of, makes it more fun, the enemies annoyed me, some of them i just couldnt kill, but it was still fun :) i enjoyed it very much
Great idea, good effects!
I could only make it through the first level. when you use the arc shot you dont know how long to hold it or anything. Nothing to go on there. Me being color blind dousn't help my case in the color coding locking system. great game idea. Guy needs to move faster in my opinion, makes backtracking more bearable...
