EDIT 03/01/2010 : 1.000.000 views ! Thank you all, you're amazing :)

We were playing some Xbox Live games during lunchtime. Guillaume was really excited about "Lucidity" and the idea of playing a "Tetris platform" game... but he finally felt disapointed by the concept.

So, Guillaume decided to create a little Tetris plateformer for fun.
William came with the idea to mix up Tetris with another well know game: Super Mario Bros.

And here it is: Tuper Tario Tros.! (what an amazing title)

This experiment is the first one in a series that we will try to bring to you, sailors :)
Don't hesitate to give us your feedbacks.

- Arrows to move
- X to jump
- Space to switch between games
- C to speed up the scrolling

06/01/10 - v 1.2
- How to play section added to main menu
- We added some control keys to fit with everybody's brain
- You can now speed up the scrolling, you tetris' lamers !
- You have now 120 seconds to finish the boss battle. This extra time is our new year's gift ;)

great stuff

I don't see why this had never been made in the last twenty years, oh yeah, because those games haven't been played in so long. this will get them to remember

I seriously didn't expect this. There is nothing possibly more innovative than this.

The only suggestion I dare say is to make the screen smaller. I know you need it for the tetris game, but it is quite hard to see the mario game.

Why didn't anyone think of this before? Ingenious!

Wow! Co-Op needed!

So simple yet... Ingenius! I bet the guys at nintendo are working on making a DS/Wii version of this right now... oh wait no, nintendo don't make awesome stuff like this anymore :(

...Luckily for me, people like you do! This is why I love NG so much. Why this has never been thought of before is beyond me. Definately take this concept and work with it. now... the only reason I didn't give it a 10 is because it's missing a Co-Op, 2 PLAYER mode.

Wait, before I get barraged with 'No Danso! That's a retarded idea! Not all games need multiplayer! gragh!" Hear me out. A simple, one guy plays mario, the other plays the tetris, teamwork needed if you plan on completing the game. You could go nuts, even make parts where the blocks have no floor to land on and so mario has to jump on the pieces (Controlled by the 2nd player) as they drop to get across. It already says 1 PLAYER GAME. Why not add that 2 PLAYER option underneath? :P

Even a versus mode could work for this too. A race to see which of you could finish the level quickest. Or where you recieve points for depleting a row, but can't forget about your little mario dude. Don't let him die or insta-lose. Then at the end add up the points. See who depleted the most rows and still completed the game. Or collecting mushrooms from the [?] boxes. That would be tricky, keeping a gap clear for mario to get in underneath and knock out a mushroom.

I dunno but, those are some ideas from me that you could definately play with...

Oh! Before I forget, When you press 'P' to pause the game could 'esc' then take you back to the menu, and pressing 'P' again would unpause the game? I have to refresh the whole page to get back there atm, is just something small that would make the game a little better. especially if you DO plan on adding 2 PLAYER. That way you can just back out and start up a game with a friend without reloading the whole thing.

Definately keeping my eye on this though. The most fun I've had in a while. Keep it up :D

Hey, you're quite passionate :) It's good to read this. Thanks for the time you take playing and writing your feedback. Maybe we'll make another TTT game, but as I already wrote "not right now".
