Hello Newgrounds :D.
This is my first released AS3 game. I originally submitted to the Stride/Kongregate Longest Lasting Game Contest, but it bombed on Kongregate, only scoring a 2.8/5 :(
I hope you guys here enjoy Perpetual Blaze more than the folks at kongregate do :)
Full Description:
Guide your Perpetual Blaze, an orb of pure energy, to smash through limitless waves of enemies and retain your energy in a test of endurance! Collect and use a multitude of power-ups and time-bending abilities to ensure the survival of your Blaze!
Controls:
Use WASD, the Arrow Keys, or the Mouse to move. Press the SpaceBar or click the Mouse Button to activate your time slowing ability. Press P or ESC to pause.

I just noticed that this got frontpaged on Newgrounds! Thanks to all of you who wrote reviews for Perpetual Blaze, whether good or bad. Your feedback/criticisms will help me to create even better games in the future!
I don't think highscores are working anymore, so I'll just announce here that I got a score of 9,233,622.
Spectacular game by the way. I loved playing it as a kid, and as an adult, this is one of those NG gems that still hold up.

The highscores are broken now because the provider, mochimedia, shut down in 2014 :(
