I started working on this in june. Orginally this game was called Crazy apple 3 but I changed title to Super Apple because it reminded a lot of Super Mario Bros. This also first flash game where I used object oriented programming. Game has over 3000 lines of code.
This flash has lots of my experimental stuff.
- Parallax scroll
- level scrolling without V-Cam. Yeah my previous games used V-Cam to scrolling.
- Saving data
Game's tileset is heavy so it's recommended that you lower quality to medium or low.
This is my last game with as2. Next one will be done with as3.
My disappointments in this game were heavy tileset system and lack of storyline. This game orginally had story but i had no idea how to tell it.
Game automatically saves your progress.
Arrow keys -> Movement
Down -> toboggan
S -> Jump
S + Up -> jump off from water surface
S + leaf -> float
A -> Run
