So this is my second real production. I'm trying to figure out different movements and stuff. Start out simple and then learn the rest. This started out as me trying to get the blue stick to walk across a blank frame just because I'm trying to test the waters, and it turned out I just had a lot of fun with it. I have a bunch of new models and ideas for Stickom because of this, and I'm not not afraid of movement. Truth be told, I'm trying to find out how to do a stick-firefight. So enjoy...

a work in progress

If you want some tips:
I tried doing stickmen, and I drew them with the brush tool, and when they moved I re-drew them in every frame. This makes the movement look much smoother and less jerky. Im not an artist, so they don't look as good as the could have, but they look better than your line tool drawn stickmen.

DanWil responds:

Hey, thanks for the tip. I've actually already made some models and tested them like you suggest and although they move a bit more cartoony, it is much smoother. In the future I will be doing that, but for now I'm only trying to learn things so for the next couple submissions I'm just going to be putting together what I know. I know this will get me low scores and negative feedback, but trial by fire is just how I work best.

Also, since its Holiday season, I'm feeling a bit rushed, and don't have a lot of time on my hands, otherwise if I did... I wouldn't have a problem putting less time in a day, for the sake of expansion and quality. So after the new year, I'll probably start making some better things.

Once more, thanks.
