I thought this was a well thought out game. I enjoyed it, but yeah some were too hard. I would love to see another one, maybe with in-game hints and more levels??
But yeah, overall good effort :)

Three stars for the effort but this game is impossible without the walkthrough. Try to make something easier in the future.

I found the game very boring and frustrating. Although it may sound strange, the game needs to be easier.
If my math is correct, for box 7 there are a total of 256 possible combinations (4*4*4*4). It took me about 6 seconds to punch in each code meaning that it could quite possibly take someone up to about 25 minutes to complete that box. In my opinion this is far from fun.
I will admit that some of the boxes were quite clever as well as quite possible. I especially liked the chess box (box 4). I know how to crack the safe but I'm having the problem of when a sound is made the game lags. This causes the dial to jump and I can't see what number the dial was on. Not sure how to correct this so I was unable to open it.
I think this game would have been better if you had some increasingly difficult, but still quite possible (without going to ridiculous measures), boxes that would get you to a final box. Then you could have several hidden boxes (boxes that weren't required to be opened in order to finish the game) thrown in for those who feel the need for more of a challenge.
I also realize that the you were trying to keep this game close to "real life" but I gotta say sitting around for a minute while the dam guy drills is a little annoying.
You did a great job with the animations of everything. I think you should make oone of these with a storyline. It would be great. I also like the sounds. They were very well done.
Playing this game made me want to get a cool box. Maybe one like box 4.

i couldn't get box 5 to work even with the walkthrough.
idk, mate, since everyone is complaining about a different box, i would think this isn't a great game...i know it's pretty realistic with the no hints, but it's a flash game. couldn't we get a little something?

the only problem I have found is with #6. Even with the walkthrough, after the spring releases I can't open the drawer. Maybe make the hotspot to drag it bigger.

...was nearly impossible without the walkthrough. Maybe make the needed keys a little more obvious?

Some of the others were difficult, but part of the fun was figuring out the systems you used for each box. I really enjoyed the game (other than feeling like an idiot once the walkthrough explained box 7 to me). Good job!

There's no real clues as to what you're going for to solve these puzzles. Just random guessing. Yeah yeah, I know there's a walk through. Following the walk through to beat the game makes the game worthless.

I totally agree with userro: there are so many possible combinations that the right one is virtually impossible to find out by guessing - and since there are absolutly no hints, you have to guess!
I wouldn't even call this realistic, becouse in reality there can be hints about how you can unlock something - and if there aren't you'd better try useing brute force, becouse otherwise you won't be able to unlock it!
It's like if I would make a "super realistic" Guess the code game where you have to guess a randomly generated code wich length is unknown and can be as long as 8 digits, can contain any character and of course you get no hint at all.

For a hands on game, it's decent.
But three isn't a box. You liar.

even with the walkthrough its hard.

I would have liked it if there were some hint about what the fuck I'm supposed to do

is it a mouse game? whats up

its really chalenging im trying to make it but its just to hard...good job

This game is really unique, but it can be somewhat difficult. Im giving you 9/10 because you didnt really give a set of instruction on how to play this game, so add that and it'll be perfect (:
