Dodge fireballs (and falling boulders on Hard difficulty) and navigate around rocky outcroppings that jut out from either side of the passageway as you fly through an erupting volcano!

The longer you survive, the higher your score but the more difficult the game becomes.

How to play:

Use the mouse to steer your ship around the rocky outcroppings and to dodge the fireballs and boulders.

Hitting any of these hazards will destroy your ship.

Basic idea, Well presented.

This game fits under that classic "Cursor is you" games where you dodge everything other than the background and those games although old, are very addictive.

The game's intenstiy becomes greater the further it goes, but it doesn't increase to quickly, which helps the game move along smoothly, gentley building up to climax as oppossed to feeling like a wasted effort playing, this game makes you go "ahh damn it, I can do better than that!"

Graphics are fine, in fact, it's quite a pretty game when you sit back and look at it when you are not too busy avoiding pillars, rocks and the works. The only thing that looks rushed is the pause screen etc. But thats just nit picking...

I love my spaceships as much as the next man and everyone knows, spaceships have guns. It feels a little awkward without them but, it's still a fun game, even with the minor disapointment of not being able to blow S*** up.

It's playabilty factor is quite low, it's more like a wine that you save for a future holiday, or special event as oppossed to just a major drunken night. It's a game you think "I'll play that today, I'll treat myself"

This game cannot get boring despite it's repetitiveness, it will always be what it is and if you have a friend to match a score with, it gets even better.

The looks, the controls, the sounds, everything about this game gives off a rich nostalgia that reminds you of the good old days of R-type and Gradius (minus the lasers).

Overall it's a fun game, I probably won't play it tomorrow, but that doesn't mean it's bad at all. If a second one was made with lasers and insane obstacles like a squid thats on fire. I'd bookmark that without thinking twice!

Maybe it's my gaming youth, but it's just the way i expected it.

I give you a 8 out of 10 for a brilliant looking, sounding game that is although quite cookie cutter, it brings an authentic appearence and astounding appeal and even if that feeling is short term, this game will bring smiles to everyone that plays it.

It was pretty decent. Just dodging fireballs and pillars definitely lowered the re playability. I played 3 times and then lost interest.

Whew, that's hard.

A little too hard. But still good. Maybe offer some power ups like shields, invulnerability and stuff and it will all be good. But as is, it's bare and it tells you that because your reflexes aren't superhuman, you suck. There is potential in this though so 7/10 and 3/5.
